The Ballot Measure Allowed The State To Keep And Utilize Excess Revenue ($23.65 Million) Generated From Increased And New Tobacco, Cigarette, And Nicotine Taxes Approved By Voters In 2020.

Now that proposition ii has passed, the tax on a pack of cigarettes will be $1.94 from january through june next year, $2.24 from july 2024 through june 2027.
